An international nongovernment organization has forged a partnership with a local wellness company to advance the use of herbal medicine in the country.

The International Association of Educators for World Peace, represented by its national chancellor, Dr. Josef de Ubaldo, is advocating the use of locally grown malunggay as a “natural nutrition for the tropics.”

De Ubaldo said he was particularly impressed with the healing effects of Malunggai Life Oil, an oil-based malunggay supplement rich in Vitamin C, calcium, antioxidants and essential amino acids.

De Ubaldo was instrumental in the passage of the Traditional and Alternative Medicine Act of the Philippines. He organized the recent 6th Philippine Congress and Exhibition on Natural Health held at Club Filipino.

Malunggai Life Oil is made by Manila Nature’s Link Inc., headed by president and CEO Ariel Nepomuceno. It was developed from pure moringa oliefera or malunggay seeds and leaves oil extract which is rich in organic chlorophyll, essential amino acids, vitamins, minerals and phytochemicals.
