LIST: Power interruptions in Southern Luzon, Pasig from Oct. 27 to 31

MANILA, Philippines—The Manila Electric Company (Meralco) has announced that some parts of Southern Luzon and Pasig City will experience power interruptions from October 27 to 31.

In several advisories posted on its website, Meralco said the repairs are due to line reconductoring work, facility installation and relocation, line reconstruction, and other maintenance and testing work.

According to Meralco, the following areas will be affected by the service interruptions:

October 27, 2024

Rizal Province (Cainta) – between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

• Portion of East Bank Road (Floodway) from Pasig – Cainta Regional Boundary to and including Floodway Lower Compound – Phase 1, Kabisig Floodway Compound, PFCI Floodway Compound, Anak Pawis Compound and San Francisco Compound
• Cambridge Village in Brgys. San Andres and San Juan

Cavite (Alfonso, Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo, Gen. Trias City, Magallanes, Maragondon, Naic, Tanza, Ternate, and Trece Martirez City) – between 10:30 p.m. and 11 p.m.

• The whole towns of Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo, Magallanes, Naic, Tanza and Ternate
• Brgy. Kaytitinga II in Alfonso
• Brgys. Pasong Kawayan 1 & 2 in Gen. Trias City
