Alta Vista’s sister clubs to vie in The View
GOLFERS from sister clubs of Alta Vista Golf and Country Club (AVGCC) in Malaysia, Singapore and Manila will compete in the The View Invitational 2012, which tees off at 5 a.m. today in Pardo.
This member-guest, 36-hole tournament which is already on its 15th year, will be a two-man team event using the Modified Stableford Scoring System based on the lowest handicap for the past three months.
It is a 4-day tournament with two days to play with each team playing two rounds.
Titles up for grabs for the teams are the overall lowest gross and overall lowest net. Awards will also go to the top three teams in classes A, B and C as well as in the seniors’ division.
The View always prides itself with its prizes and giveaways and this year is no different as each participant will get a pair of Nike Power Player III EU golf shoes and a shoe bag, all worth about P6,000.
However, a participant can only get his giveaway after he plays in the tournament.
