2 killed in Isabela shooting; alleged gunman beaten to death by mob
ILAGAN, Isabela — Three men, including the alleged gunman who was later beaten by an angry mob, were killed in an incident in this area on Saturday, October 19.
Police said in a report that Charlie Rosete, 49, and Marvin Jake Coloma, 23, both farmers, were reportedly killed by Arnel Bielgo.
Bielgo allegedly shot the victims using a caliber .38 handgun in Barangay (village) Centro-San Antonio at around 4 a.m.
The suspect was allegedly drunk and he challenged his drinking mates to fight with him.
Reports said residents later pursued Bielgo and beat him to death.
