Wi-Fi services upgraded at Naia terminals

MANILA, Philippines — Passengers at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia) can expect faster and more reliable free Wi-Fi service following internet connectivity upgrades.

To ensure better and reliable coverage, the complex’s new private sector operator, New Naia Infra Corp. (NNIC), said it partnered with both PLDT/Smart and Converge as Wi-Fi providers.

Current average internet speeds at Naia terminals have since “significantly increased” to 50 to 60 megabytes per second (Mbps), with peak speeds reaching 115 Mbps.

Passengers can enjoy up to three hours of free access instead of the previous two hours without providing personal information.
