President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Wednesday said all government officials who helped dismissed Bamban Mayor Alice Guo (real name: Guo Hua Ping) escape will be fired and sued.
“All of those who are implicated in assisting Alice Guo to leave the Philippines illegally as a fugitive from justice will certainly pay the price. Ang tanong niyo, sino sisibakin (your question is, who will be fired?)” Marcos said in a chance interview on the sidelines of a situation briefing in Camp Aguinaldo in Quezon City.
DOJ probes BI personnel for possible involvement in Alice Guo’s escape
The Department of Justice (DOJ) is investigating immigration personnel who were possibly involved in dismissed Bamban Mayor Alice Guo’s escape, Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla said on Wednesday.
In a press briefing, Remula said they have “suspicion” that some immigration personnel might know of Guo’s escape.

Hopes are high that dismissed Bamban Mayor Alice Guo would finally be able to face the Senate’s hearing to ultimately divulge all her secrets in relation to her ties to Philippine offshore gaming operators (Pogos).

Marcos: No politics in OVP budget deliberations
