Colonel Ledon Monte, Quezon police chief, reported that members of the provincial drug enforcement unit collared at 1 a.m. “Ariel,” 58 years old, after allegedly selling shabu worth P1,000 to an undercover cop in Barangay (village) Dalahican.
Confiscated from the suspect were two plastic sachets containing shabu worth P281,520 in the street market at the prevailing price of P20,400 per gram, the report said.
The suspect, a resident of the village, is listed on the police drug watch list as an “HVI” or high-value individual in the local drug trade.
