MANILA, Philippines — The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has entered embattled religious leader Apollo Quiboloy’s indoor arena inside the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) in Davao City, according to a report.

Operatives of NBI Region 11 were seen searching the premises of King Dome, according to the Facebook live stream of Sonshine Media Network International or SMNI.

Pastor Apollo Quiboloy is believed to be hiding inside the KOJC compound.

NBI Region 11 Director Archie Albao, in a video published by SMNI, said the operatives served the warrant of arrest from Pasig City and the contempt order from the Senate.

Albao said they even entered the “underground” of the indoor arena to look for Quiboloy and four other accused.

Albao clarified that it is not a tunnel but a basement under a stage inside the arena. The Philippine National Police said it is an “open secret” that there are tunnels in the KOJC compound.

“So far we did not see any accused including Pastor Quiboloy,” Albao said in an ambush interview.

The Court of Appeals on Thursday said it had imposed a 20-day freeze order on Quiboloy’s bank accounts, real estate properties, and other assets.

Quiboloy and the five co-accused face child abuse cases before the Davao City court. He also has standing arrest warrants for human trafficking issued by a Pasig City court.
