Marcos expands Batangas ecozone
President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has ordered the inclusion of five parcels of land in Malvar town, Batangas province, in the existing Lima Technology Center-Special Economic Zone in that area.
The President issued Proclamation No. 639 converting the parcels of land totaling 9.8 hectares, amending Republic Act No. 7916 or the Special Economic Zone Act of 1995.
The five lots are the latest addition to the growing Lima Technology Center, a mixed-use development spanning portions of Lipa City and Malvar.
