MANILA, Philippines — Some roads in Metro Manila remained flooded on Thursday due to the heavy rains triggered by the southwest monsoon, or “habagat,” and enhanced by Typhoon Carina.

Below is the list of roads that are still flooded as of Thursday morning, based on information from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority and local government units:

Quezon City

Passable to vehicles as of 8 a.m.:

  • Governor Pascual Sanciangco, eight-inch flood
  • Catmon Peoples Park, a five- to six-inch flood
  • San Agustin MCAT, eight-inch flood
  • Catmon Super Health Center, eight-inch flood
  • Tonsuya P. Aquino Pinagsabugan, eight-inch flood
  • Sevilla Corner Estrella, eight-inch flood
  • Ibaba General Luna Camus Street, three to four inches flood

Not passable to light vehicles as of 8 a.m.:

  • Aquino Barangay Tonsuya, knee-high, not passable
  • Catmon Super Health Center, 13 inches flood
  • Tonsuya P. Aquino Avenue Dagat Dagatan, 13 inches flood

Pasig City

Not passable as of 8:20 a.m.:
