100 school children in Surigao Norte join Inquirer read-along

SIARGAO ISLAND, Surigao del Norte — At least 100 school children joined the Inquirer read-along session in Del Carmen here Saturday morning.

Secretary Mary Ann Lucille Sering, vice chairman of the Climate Change Commission, read to the children the book “Ecodefenders recruit marine defenders.”

The event was co-sponsored by the Climate Change and Clean Energy Project of the United States Agency for International Development.
