MANILA, Philippines — The Palace has declared August 15 a special non-working day in Bulacan province for its founding anniversary.

In Proclamation No. 625 signed July 5 by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. recognized that the people of Bulacan must be “given full opportunity to enjoy the celebration.”

“I, Lucas Bersamin, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, Ferdinand Marcos Jr., do hereby declare Thursday, 15 August 2024, a special (non-working) day in the Province of Bulacan,” the proclamation read.
