P10 million reward offered for the arrest of fugitive Apollo Quiboloy
MANILA, Philippines — A P10 million reward awaits anyone who will step forward and provide credible information that would lead to the arrest of fugitive televangelist Apollo Quiboloy, Interior Secretary Benjamin Abalos Jr. said in a press conference on Monday.
Abalos also announced a P1 million reward each for information leading to the arrest of Quiboloy’s subordinates Cresente Canada, Paulene Canada, Ingrid Canada, Sylvia Camañes, and Jackielyn Roy.
“We have friends who want to help find them and have offered a reward of P10 million for any information leading to the arrest of Pastor Quiboloy and P1 million each for others,” Abalos said, speaking partly in Filipino.

“These friends are people already frustrated about what’s happening. I mean, look at the crimes. There’s child abuse and exploitation, children. There’s also a trafficking case with no bail,” he added.
Abalos also appealed to Quiboloy to surrender and face the allegations against him if he had nothing to hide.
“If you are innocent, pastor, face the court, surrender, and finish this. Face the accusation like any other ordinary person does,” the DILG chief said in Filipino.
“It should happen like that, but with this happening, it seems like the government system is being trampled on. If you serve a warrant, you are called the bad one, right? It’s simple: the law is the law, the guilty will be held accountable, and we will follow it, pastor Quiboloy,” he added.
Last April 3, a Davao Regional Trial Court ordered the arrest of Quiboloy and his five subordinates. They are facing charges of violating the Anti-Child Abuse Law, specifically the provision on sexual abuse of minors and maltreatment.
On the same day, Cresente and Pauline Canada, and Camañes turned themselves in and posted P80,000 bail each.
On April 4, Ingrid Canada and Jacklyn Roy surrendered to authorities and posted bail.
On April 11, a Pasig City court also issued a warrant for the arrest of the self-proclaimed “appointed son of God” for qualified human trafficking, a nonbailable offense.
