MANILA, Philippines — Most parts of the country, including Metro Manila, will have generally fair and hot weather on Sunday, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
Although the country could have hot and humid weather for the rest of the day, Pagasa said rain showers may persist from late afternoon to evening.

Villamil likewise said areas affected by the southwest monsoon, locally known as habagat, have become fewer.
Based on Pagasa’s report, the western section of Southern Luzon and Visayas, including Mimaropa, Western Visayas and Batangas, are most affected by habagat.
Currently, Villamil said the state weather service has not monitored any low pressure area or weather disturbance that may enter the Philippine area of responsibility.
