A car is damaged after a more than 100 years old Acacia tree in front of the Minor Basilica and Parish of St. John the Baptist in Taytay, Rizal, fell on on May 26, 2024, while the Sunday Mass was being held inside the church. According to a statement from the parish, the tree gave way due to a combination of old age and inclement weather caused by Tropical Storm Aghon. INQUIRER/LYN RILLON
