Manila Water’s Darangan bridge pipe-laying project to finish in May 2024
As part of the company’s service improvement program for Rizal customers, Manila Water is set to finish the construction of the P45-million Darangan Pipe Bridge project in Binangonan, Rizal, this May.
This 800-mm steel pipe bridge system spanning 26 linear meters along Manila East Service Road will improve water access to over 20,000 households in Angono, Binangonan, Cainta, Taytay, and some areas in Pasig City once operational.
The pipe-laying project, which started in November 2023, is designed to reinforce existing supply connections, and benefit residential, commercial, and industrial customers in these rapidly developing areas.

Crucial to the completion of the project is the deployment of cutting-edge boring machines facilitating the seamless interconnection of new pipes to the existing one.

To date, the East Zone concessionaire has laid and maintained over 5,400 kilometers water network serving over 7.6 million customers in the East Zone of Metro Manila and Rizal.
