Pasig City gov't seeks to locate relatives of 79-yr-old Alberto Honrada

MANILA, Philippines — The local government unit of Pasig City has called for the relatives of a certain “Alberto Acosta Honrada,” who is at the Pasig City Children’s Hospital (PCCH).

According to the Pasig City Public Information Office (PIO) on Wednesday, Honrada, who is 79 years old, lives alone and he does not have a permanent residence.

Honrada was then brought by a barangay official in Barangay Caniogan to the PCCH to receive medical treatment.

He said he had relatives in Barangay Caniogan, but upon further checking, the residents of Barangay Caniogan said his relatives no longer lived there.

“Ayon sa pasyente, siya ay may kamag-anak sa Caniogan, subalit nang makipag-ugnayan ang PCCH sa pamunuan ng nasabing barangay para sadyain ang kanyang binigay na address, ayon sa mga residente nito ay hindi na raw nakatira ang mga ito sa nasabing lugar,” the Pasig City PIO said.

(According to the patient, he had relatives in Barangay Caniogan, but when the PCCH coordinated with the barangay administration to check the address that he gave, the residents said that his relatives no longer lived there.)

The Pasig City PIO added Honrada further claimed that he had a relative in Bulacan and a sibling in Cavite, but he did not know their addresses.

The city then advised Honrada’s family members to contact the Medical Social Service section of the PCCH (Child’s Hope) or the Pasig City Covid-19 Referral Facility at 8643-2222, local 110 or 0951 727 3648.
