Alleged drug trafficker yields shabu, 2 guns in Antipolo City
LUCENA CITY – Two illegal firearms and shabu (crystal meth) worth P306,000 were seized from an alleged big-time drug trafficker in Antipolo City, Rizal on Tuesday night, April 23.
The suspect, identified as “Oscar” was arrested around 10:34 p.m. by anti-narcotics operatives after he sold a pack of shabu to an undercover police officer in Barangay (village) San Roque, the Region 4A police reported Wednesday, April 24.
Authorities seized nine sachets of shabu weighing 45 grams and worth about P306,000 based on the standard price value of P6,800 per gram.

The police also allegedly found a caliber .45 pistol loaded with five bullets and another caliber .9mm pistol with five bullets. Both of the firearms had no government permits.

The confiscated guns would be subjected to ballistic and cross-matching examinations to determine if they had been used in past crime incidents.
The suspect is under police custody and will face a formal complaint for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and illegal possession of a firearm under the “Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.”
