1,330 pass the April 2024 electronics engineering licensure exams
MANILA, Philippines — A total of 1,330 out of 3,130 passed the 2024 April Electronics Engineering Licensure Exam (ECELE), said the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Wednesday.
According to the PRC, the board exam was conducted on April 11 to 12, 2024 at testing centers in Metro Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales and Tuguegarao.
Niel Shem Geronimo Bañas of the Technological University of the Philippines (TUP)-Visayas topped the list of topnotchers with a score of 91.80 percent.
In second place is Joaquin Mateo Rivera Jison of the University of the Philippines (UP)-Diliman, with a score of 91.10 percent, followed by Reineir Samonte Duran of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP)-Main Sta. Mesa in third place with 90.70 percent.

ECTLE exam results
Meanwhile, on the same day, the PRC also announced that 1,819 out of 2,538 passed the 2024 April Electronics Technician Licensure Exams (ECTLE).
The ECTLE was conducted on April 13, 2024 at testing centers in Metro Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales and Tuguegarao.
Dexter Pelaez Estorga of PUP-Sto. Tomas led the list of topnotchers with a score of 95 percent.
He is joined by Sean Cristopher Dalusong Garcia of the TUP-Manila with 93 percent, and MC Kristian Alvarez Algara from De La Salle University of the Philippines-Dasmariñas with a score of 92 percent.
