Trough of LPA to bring rain over parts of Mindanao on Tuesday
MANILA, Philippines — The trough of a low pressure area (LPA) will bring rain over parts of Mindanao on Tuesday, with hot and humid temperatures expected to persist over the rest of the country, said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
According to Pagasa weather specialist Veronica Torres, the LPA is not expected to enter the Philippine area of responsibility and is only forecast to affect the country for a few days.
“Inaasahan na magdadala bukas ang trough ng LPA dito sa may Soccsksargen pati na rin sa Davao Region,” said Torres.
