4 arrested for illegal LPG trade in Bulacan

Four employees of Sun Power LPG Gas Refilling (Sun Power) have been arrested in an entrapment operation in Bulakan, Bulacan, for unauthorized cross filling, illegal trading of petroleum and other violations, the National Bureau of Investigation’s Organized and Transnational Crime Division (OTCD) said on Monday.

In a statement, the NBI-OTCD identified the four as Chole Tirando Mejorada, Joshua Roque Bantoy, Markjelo Gonzales Peralta and Jill Arjhea de Leon Inocencio.

They were arrested on Feb. 27 after an investigation confirmed that Sun Power was illegally selling liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders using the Regasco brand name. —RUSSEL LORETO
