2 suspected robbers killed in Bulacan shootout

MANILA, Philippines—Two suspected robbers were killed in a shootout with policemen in Bulacan Wednesday afternoon, a Philippine National Police spokesman said.

Senior Superintendent Generoso Cerbo Jr. said the two alleged robbers were killed following an encounter with local police in Purok 4, Rodriguez Street in Barangay (village) Batia in Bocaue, Bulacan, around 12:30 p.m.

Recovered from the still unidentified suspects were a shotgun, a .38-cal. revolver and a Honda Wave 125 motorcycle used by the suspects.—Jamie Marie Elona
