Road repairs set this weekend, says MMDA

Road repairs are set to happen in Metro Manila this weekend and the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) is cautioning motorists of possible traffic jams. INQUIRER FILES

MANILA, Philippines — The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said several major roads in the National Capital Region (NCR) will be affected by concrete pouring activities this weekend.

In an advisory, the MMDA said the road repairs started Friday and will continue until 6 p.m. on Sunday, February 18.

The MMDA cautioned motorists of possible traffic congestion in the following areas:

  • EDSA Northbound Superlines-Honda Cubao (first lane)
  • EDSA Northbound East Ave. Footbridge-MRT Kamuning (first lane)
  • EDSA Northbound National Printing Office-Concentrix (first lane)
  • EDSA Northbound Concentrix-Cyber Pod one (first lane)
  • EDSA Northbound Kalayaan Ave-Honda Motor (first lane)
  • EDSA Northbound across Porsche before Corinthians (first lane)
  • C-5 Katipunan after Billboard Escopa (bike lane)

The MMDA urged motorists to take alternative routes during the period of concrete pouring activities to avoid inconvenience.
