MISSING EAR
A 17-YEAR-OLD boy was found dead inside a house that the family used to occupy in Moalboal town yesterday.
Nestor dela Torre Jr. was lying on the floor with head injuries and a missing ear when he was found by his mother.
The boy was last seen going to town with two friends to watch activities for the upcoming fiesta celebration.
Police said his mother got worried when he didn’t come home, and looked for him at their former residence.
She found him on the floor bloodied.

At least eight houses, including shanties, were destroyed by a fire that hit barangay Mactan, Lapu-Lapu City, Monday night.
No one was injured in the fire. Property damage was placed at P15,000, said SFO1 Jovani Dañosos.
Police said a store owner in the area mentioned that a trisikad driver earlier threatened to burn the house of Nelia Adorable, one of the fire victims, after she confronted him about his stepping on her roof while extracting tuba from a coconut tree.

DRUG BUST
AGENTS of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested a suspected drug pusher in a buy-bust operation in Cordova town on Monday.
Geronimo Rapada was arrested after he sold two packs of suspected shabu to a PDEA agent worth P500.
Police said at least 25 grams of shabu with a street value of P115, 000 were also found on Rapada, who had been under surveillance for two weeks.
Rapada said the drugs were planted by the agents.
He had been jailed for using illegal drugs last November. /Correspondent Chito Aragon
ROBBERY GROUP
The Police Regional Office of the Central Visayas said they monitored the presence of the Mindanao-based robbery group that victimized a forwarding company in Mandaue City last month.
Sr. Supt. Rey Lyndon Lawas of PRO-7 urged the public, especially banks and financial institutions, to be vigilant as the group could be spotting for their next victims. /Correspondent Chito Aragon
