LIST: Manila announces areas to have power interruptions on Saturday

MANILA, Philippines — Some areas in the city of Manila will experience power interruptions on Saturday, February 3, the local government of Manila said on Wednesday.

According to the Manila Electric Company or Meralco, this is due to maintenance activities such as pole replacement and the installation of lightning protection devices in M. Adriatico at Leveriza Street.

Below are the areas that will be affected:

8:30 am – 9:00AM, 2:00 pm – 2:30pm

• Part of M. H. Del Pilar Street, from Windy Ridge Hotel Manila to Quirino Avenue (With Admiral Hotel Manila, Aspire Tower, Baywatch Tower, D Circle Hotel, and Armada Hotel Manila)
• Part of Quirino Ave., from M. H. Del Pilar to M. Adriatico St. (With Madre Ignacia St. and Leonel Waste Management Compound)
• Part of Madre Ignacia St from Quirino Avenue (With FSC Training Center, McDonalds, Malate Catholic School, Altoha Bldg., Victoria Court, Hotel Victoria, and Carolina Bldg.)
• Part of M. Adriatico St. from Quirino Ave (With Malate Bayview Mansion)
• Marbella Bldg., length of Roxas Blvd.
