E-learning in Navotas
To boost the city’s computer literacy program, Navotas Mayor John Rey Tiangco has invited Quezon City Rep. Bernadette Herrera-Dy to explain the mechanics of her Computer School on Wheels (COW) project to young Navoteños.
“This is in support of the city’s long-term plan to build an E-learning center in the city library where students can use personal desktop computers for their school activities and research assignments for free,” Tiangco said.
According to the mayor, he believes technology provides a greater opportunity for young residents to explore and learn new things.
Tangos National High School, one of the biggest high schools in Navotas, was COW’s first stop on April 23.
