MANILA, Philippines — The local government unit of Quezon City (QC) asked its citizens to be responsible when using their QC Identification Card (QCID) to avail of various privileges in the city.

This was after a citizen was apprehended by the local government for applying for two separate QCIDs to get assistance from the Pangkabuhayan QC Program.

According to a Facebook post of the QCID Team on Friday, the citizen, whose name and gender were not identified for privacy, applied for two QCIDs with the same name but with a different format. They also presented a different identification card.

However, after the settlement, the local government and the person agreed that the case would not be filed as long as the person wrote a letter of their public apology and vowed not to repeat their actions.
