Christmas in the Palace: First couple welcomes kids, visitors
MANILA, Philippines — Malacañang Palace has opened its grounds to the public anew this Christmas season through its “Tara sa Palasyo” led by President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos
Photos released by Malacañang showed the first couple interacting with children visiting the Christmas carnival inside the Palace grounds, which is open from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
The Palace also opened its doors to the public for the traditional Misa de Gallo or Simbang Gabi.
“Malacañan Palace is once again welcoming visitors as President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and First Lady Louise Araneta-Marcos open its doors for this year’s Misa De Gallo,” a statement posted on RTVM’s page stated.
“This mass is being held daily for nine (9) consecutive days, starting from December 16 and lasting until December 24, from 4:30 AM to 5:00 AM at the Mabini Grounds in Malacañan Palace,” it added.
Guests will receive complimentary servings of Puto Bumbong and bibingka after the mass.
