South Korean fugitive arrested while trying to extend visa
MANILA, Philippines — A South Korean fugitive was arrested on Wednesday at the Bureau of Immigration (BI)’s head office in Intramuros, Manila when he attempted to extend his temporary visitor’s visa.
On Saturday, the BI said Oh Myunggyun, 49, is wanted in south Korea for his involvement in the prostitution business
The BI said that Oh is the subject of a summary deportation order as he has a warrant of arrest issued by the South Korean government
The BI also said that his passport has been revoked.

In a statement, BI tourist visa section chief Raymond Remigio said Oh was apprehended after frontline personnel of the agency discovered his active derogatory record.
