Group disrupts voting, destroys ballots in Puerto Princesa, Palawan

MANILA, Philippines — A group of disruptors destroyed election ballots in voting precincts in Puerto Princesa, Palawan during the village and youth elections on Monday.

Commission on Elections chairman George Erwin Garcia confirmed the incident occurred in two precincts in Puerto Princesa Pilot Elementary School.

A number of people entered the precincts and then ripped the election ballots, according to Garcia.
