BFP will not promote candidates for 2023 BSKE
MANILA, Philippines — The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said that it will not promote political candidates in the 2023 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) elections in October 30.
In its Facebook post on Friday, the agency said that its officers and personnel will not engage in the promotion of any political candidates.
“As a government agency solely concerned of saving lives and property, officers and personnel of the BFP do not engage in any activity involving the promotion of any political candidate, especially during this upcoming Barangay and SK Elections this October 30,” the BFP said.
The BFP added that it will continue to provide support for public safety, especially in fire prevention.
“While the polls will be ongoing, we will continue to provide administrative and operational support to maintain public safety, especially in fire prevention,” it added.
