DPWH: España Boulevard west-bound roadworks set from Oct. 13-17
MANILA, Philippines — Road repairs are scheduled on the westbound lane of España Boulevard from Friday, October 13 to Tuesday, October 17.
The Department of Public Works and Highways – National Capital Region (DPWH -NCR) said on Thursday that the North Manila District Engineering Office will conduct road concreting or reblocking from the corner of Eloisa to Tolentino Streets.
To ensure minimal traffic interruption in the area, the DPWH said that the repairs would follow a strict time period.
Article continues after this advertisementMobilization of equipment will start at 11:00 p.m. on Friday, according to the department.
Article continues after this advertisementIt will be followed by the breaking and hauling of existing concrete pavement on Saturday, then pouring and curing of concrete pavements in the following days.
“There will be a partial road closure covering two lanes during the said period, as the repair works will start at the first inner westbound lane with nine linear meters and four linear meters from Eloisa Street,” DPWH-NCR said on their Facebook page.
The department advised motorists to slow down in the affected areas or explore and use alternate routes.
According to the DPWH, the road works are part of their commitment to improve road quality and ensure the safety of motorists.
