Magnitude 6.6 earthquake rattles Davao Occidental

A 6.0-magnitude earthquake shook Davao Occidental on Tuesday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.

The tectonic quake hit Balut Island in the municipality of Sarangani at 9:39 a.m. Phivolcs said the temblor occurred at a depth of 122 kilometers.
