4 validated poll-related violence, so far – PNP
MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Monday said that it has so far validated four cases of election related violence while 12 other cases are subject to verification ahead of the barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections in October.
Of the four validated election-related violent incidents, three were shooting cases, and the other was alarm and scandal.
Fajardo disclosed that two out of the four cases were already referred to the prosecutor’s office, while two are under investigation.
On the other hand, the 12 suspected election-related violent incidents include seven shooting incidents, two physical injury cases, and one each for robbery and alarm and scandal.
