MRT-3 to offer free rides to civil servants from Sept. 18 to 20

The Metro Rail Transit Line-3 (MRT-3) management on Friday announced that it will offer free rides to civil servants from Sept. 18 to 20.

MANILA, Philippines — The Metro Rail Transit Line-3 (MRT-3) management on Friday announced that it will offer free rides to civil servants from Sept. 18 to 20.

According to the MRT-3 management in an advisory, the free ride program is in commemoration of the 123rd Philippine Civil Service Anniversary.

One must only present their valid government ID to avail of the free service.

“Kami po sa MRT-3 ay taos-pusong nakikiisa sa pagdiriwang ng anibersaryo ng Philippine Civil Service. Ang handog naming libreng sakay (free ride) ay simpleng pasasalamat sa lahat ng mga sakripisyo ng bawat kawani ng gobyerno upang magampanan nang tapat at maayos ang kanilang mga tungkulin,” said MRT-3 Officer-in-Charge Jorjette Aquino.
