From the Milken Institute website, it was noted that while progress has improved the lives of individuals, strengthened communities, and grown the industries that power economies across Asia, “significant global events have created new challenges” related to peace and stability, increasing inequality, environmental damage, competition and collaboration amid differences, and post-pandemic health protection.
