DFA: Consular operations suspended in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte on Sept. 11

DFA San Nicolas Consular Office suspends operations on September 11

MANILA, Philippines — Operations at the Department of Foreign Affairs’ Consular Office in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte will be suspended on Monday, September 11, in line with the commemoration of the late former president Ferdinand E. Marcos Sr.’s 106th birth anniversary.

Pursuant to Proclamation 327, September 11 is a special non-working day in Ilocos Norte.

Applicants for consular services wirh confirmed appointments on September 11 will be accommodated from Tuesday, September 12 to Wednesday, October 11, said DFA. (Harold Hernandez, INQUIRER.net trainee)
