All previously raised wind signals due to this weather disturbance have already been lifted.

“Egay is no longer bringing severe winds over the country. However, the southwest monsoon enhanced by Egay will continue to bring gusty conditions over Luzon and Western Visayas tonight and [on Friday, July 28],” said the state weather bureau.

The cyclone-enhanced southwest monsoon may also continue dumping rain over the western portion of Luzon in the next three days.

“Egay is forecast to track northward or north northwestward over the Taiwan Strait and make landfall over Fujian, China tomorrow morning. Rapid weakening of Egay will ensue as the typhoon moves inland over China,” Pagasa added.
