COVID-19 positivity rate nationwide dips to 8.2%
MANILA, Philippines — The COVID-19 positivity rate nationwide has slightly dropped to 8.2 percent as of June 24, OCTA Research fellow Guido David said.
David said the nationwide positivity rate was at 8.6 percent on Friday and 8.9 percent on Thursday.

Citing recent data from the Department of Health (DOH), David said 464 new infections were recorded nationwide on Saturday, including 98 in Metro Manila.
David projected that the country might log 400 to 500 new COVID-19 cases on June 25.
Based on the DOH’s tracker, the Philippines has logged 4,162,231 cases, (8,353 active cases), including 4,087,396 recoveries, and 66,482 deaths.
