4 suspected drug pushers arrested in Makati buy bust operation
MANILA, Philippines – Four suspected drug pushers were arrested in a buy bust operation in Makati City Friday, authorities said.
Wu Shishuang, 50, aka Sonny Cabrera Ng, identified as a Filipino-Chinese; Shengxi Li, 30; Yang Chi Ti, 26; and Sonny Co, 27, identified as Chinese were allegedly found in possession of 26 kilos of “shabu” or methamphetamine hydrochloride, said National Capital Region Police Office Chief Alan Purisima.
Purisima said members of the team, the Regional Anti-Illegal Drug Special Operations Task Force (RAIDSOTF), also confiscated the Toyota Altis (XRN-692) and the Nissan vehicle (XBB-266) which the suspects have allegedly been using in peddling “shabu”.
He said the suspects would be charged with violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
