Boracay Waves eye second win, face winless Cagayan
THE BORACAY Waves hope to win two in a row when they face off against the winless Cagayan Rising Suns in the PBA Developmental League Foundation Cup at the Trinity University of Asia gym.
The Waves broke through the win column last week as they edged the Jr. Powerade, 64-60, a victory that snapped their three-game skid.
They are aiming to remain in contention as four teams will be booted out at the end of the elimination round.
Boracay Rum and the Cagayan Rising Suns take the floor at 2 p.m. before the 4 p.m. duel between Erase Plantcenta and Jr. Powerade.
Meanwhile, Erase Plantcenta (1-3) tries to bounce back after back-to-back defeats against Blackwater Sports and RnW Pacific Pipes to stay in contention for a quarterfinals berth.
The Rising Suns, on the other hand, are looking forward to notching their first victory in the league after a 0-4 start. /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
