MANILA, Philippines — Daily detected COVID-19 infections slightly decreased by 6 percent, from 1,775 to 1,667 while no deaths occurred in the past two weeks.

Most of the new and active infections were mild; thus, hospital admissions have remained low, according to the Department of Health (DOH).

Based on the weekly DOH bulletin, out of the 11,667 new infections confirmed by laboratory tests last week, 105 were serious or critically ill.

To date, 4,661 COVID-19 patients are admitted in hospitals nationwide, including 554 who are in serious or critical condition.
