2 drug suspects nabbed, over P78,000 illegal drugs seized in Camarines Sur
LEGAZPI CITY —Anti-narcotics teams arrested two suspected drug personalities and recovered more than P78,000 worth of illegal drugs in separate buy-bust operations in Camarines Sur on Friday night (May 12).
In Magarao town, Roy Bernas, 55, a street-level drug peddler, was arrested in Barangay (village) San Francisco at around 11:30 p.m.
Lieutenant Colonel Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol police spokesperson, said police confiscated 11 grams of shabu (crystal meth) worth P74,800, a rolled paper containing dried marijuana leaves worth P24,000, and P1,000 buy-bust money.
Meanwhile, in Barangay Pacol in Naga City, Justine Kyle Rumbo, 23, was also arrested at around 5:11 p.m.
Calubaquib said five sachets of shabu worth P3,400 was confiscated from the suspect in the said operation.
