Phivolcs: 5.5 earthquake rocks Nasipit, Agusan del Norte
MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 5.5 earthquake rocked the waters off Nasipit town in Agusan del Norte on Monday afternoon, state seismologists said.
The tectonic tremor, with a depth of 35 kilometers, occurred 21 kilometers northwest of the town at around 5:32 pm, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
Damages are not expected, but aftershocks are likely due to the earthquake.

No areas reported felt intensities.
