Most wanted person in Albay arrested in Ilocos Sur
CAMALIG, Albay — Police arrested on Monday the most wanted person in Albay in Cabugao town in Ilocos Sur, a report said on Tuesday, March 21.
Gregorio Basmayor Sr., 69, was arrested under a warrant issued by Judge Blancaflor Joven-Salgado of the Regional Trial Court Branch 3 in Tabaco City in Barangay Carusipa.

The Bicol police said in a press release that the suspect is facing charges of rape with bail fixed at P200,000 and acts of lasciviousness with recommended bail at P180,000. Both were filed on Aug 10, 2021.
The suspect is also facing charges of statutory rape filed on Aug. 11, 2021, with no bail recommended.
The police said Basmayor is now under their custody for proper disposition.
