22 crime suspects nabbed in Zambales

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — At least 22 crime suspects were arrested in a series of operations in this province, police said Monday, March 20.

Based on a report from the provincial police office, 12 of those arrested from March 13 to 19 were fugitives.

It said that the weeklong operations also yielded three drug suspects and confiscated a total of 12.20 grams of alleged “shabu” (crystal meth) worth P82,960.

The other suspects were apprehended in a crackdown on illegal gambling and loose firearms.

All suspects were placed in police custody while awaiting charges or court hearings. INQ
