Taguig warehouse fire damage reaches P2 million
MANILA, Philippines — Around P2 million assets were damaged after a fire ravaged a warehouse in Taguig City early morning Friday.
In a report, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said the two-story warehouse of Cabrera Concept Fabrication and Construction Industrial in New Lower Bicutan, Taguig City caught fire at midnight due to unknown reasons.
The first alarm was raised at 12:59 a.m.
Eight fire trucks from Taguig, Pasay, Parañaque, and Pateros responded to the call and put the fire out by 2 a.m., the report said.
No fatalities or injuries were reported, the BFP said. However, the fire affected 16 individuals and damaged “more or less P2 million pesos.”

The warehouse owner was identified as Ricardo J Austriad. —MJ Soriano, trainee
