CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga — Personnel of the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) can now enjoy free breakfast and snacks at the Camp Julian Olivas here after a food kiosk was opened in the regional police headquarters on Monday, March 13.

In a statement, the PRO3 said the kiosk and the area with concrete tables and chairs, dubbed “The Boy’s Corner”, were established through the initiative of newly designated Central Luzon police director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr.

The food kiosk serves free breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. and snacks between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. on weekdays.

The PRO3 said the kiosk caters to 200 people during breakfast and 100 during afternoon snack time.

Police personnel will be served on a “first come, first served” basis.

The regional police director said the provision of free breakfast and snacks to the camp’s personnel is one way of appreciating their respective contributions to the police service and promoting a positive and healthy work environment.

“The focus of my administration is the well-being and health of all PRO3 personnel, both uniformed and non-uniformed, by keeping them nourished and well fed. People who eat a well-balanced breakfast are more able to make decisions and function effectively at work, which is much needed in the kind of job we have,” Hidalgo added. INQ
