LIST: Canceled flights on March 13 due to bad weather

March 13 canceled flights due to bad weather

MANILA, Philippines — Several domestic flights were canceled on Monday, March 13, due to inclement weather caused by the northeast monsoon and a low-pressure area (LPA), the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) said.

In an advisory from the MIAA, the following flights were called off:

On Monday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration reported that the northeast monsoon, or “hanging amihan,” and the LPA would bring rains over parts of Visayas and Mindanao.

The state weather bureau noted that the LPA was last spotted 630 kilometers east southeast of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur. — Mae Anne F. Bilolo, intern
