MANILA, Philippines — Generally fair weather is expected nationwide on Saturday with possible isolated rain showers due to the northeast monsoon or “amihan,” according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).

“Generally ay walang kaulapan sa buong bansa, at na sa dry air tayo, so halos walang kaulapan ang mabubuo sa kalupaan,”  said Pagasa forecaster Patrick Del Mundo.

No gale warning has been raised over any part of the country, so it is safe for fishermen and those with small vessels to venture out to sea, Pagasa added.
